Throughout our lives, everyone has experienced the kindness of a physician. Whether you experienced a scraped knee as a child, a broken limb as a curious teenager, the miracle of childbirth, or the uncertainty of an illness later in life, a physician has been there for you when you needed it most.
At Firelands Regional Medical Center, many people contribute to your care experience; our talented physicians are at the epicenter of this team of medical experts that keep our community healthy day after day.
That’s why we ask you to join us in recognizing the heroes of our community’s health on National Doctors’ Day, March 30– because our physicians deserve recognition every day. Think of the physicians who care for you. Who would you like to thank for their outstanding care?
We have created the “Firelands Guardian Angel” program for you to recognize your physician, thanking them for all they’ve done for your health. Download the form and recognize your physician. We have a list of physicians and their addresses available on our website for your convenience.

Consider recognizing your physician(s) as a “Firelands Guardian Angel” by making a gift in tribute to the good work they do. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of patients at Firelands, and your donation is never used to pay physicians or staff but will support their good work and future patient care. When you make a donation in tribute to your physician, we will notify him or her of your thoughtful gift and present them with a “Guardian Angel Pin” to wear proudly as a reminder of your gratitude. Please note, that we never disclose the monetary amount donated. You may also choose the area to which your gift is designated within Firelands Regional Medical Center so that funds may be used to help patients in the best way you see fit.
March 30 is a special day for our doctors, but we are thankful for them all year round. Thank you for showing your appreciation to the men and women who help treat, heal and encourage patients at Firelands Regional Medical Center every day.
